Dr. Ing. Chiara Brighenti is Technical Director of the Controls and Diagnostics group at SATE, leading R&D and commercial projects related to AI-based systems modelling, fault diagnostics and prognostics for the automotive, space and energy fields. She has been coordinating all the activities carried out by SATE under ESA projects since 2014 for the development of innovative methods and software solutions for data-driven health status monitoring of satellites constellations, in support to ground operations, and for enhanced on-board FDIR applications. She graduated with honours in Control Systems Engineering at the University of Padua and performed a postgraduate master in AI based engineering systems modelling and diagnostics at the IIT of Madrid, before joining S.A.T.E.
